# Game Flow

Games are played in "campaigns". First, the players select a campaign they want to play. Upon starting a campaign:

* The player that lives their daily life the most "*tactically*" gets the first player token.
* Each player takes:
  * a player board
  * a player card and their corresponding figure / standy
  * 3 primary magazine tokens
  * 2 secondary magazine tokens
* Setup:
  * Piles / bags of:
    * Credits
    * Red & Yellow Marker Token
    * Door Token
  * Enemy detail cards laid-out somewhere easy to read/access
  * [Preparation Phase](/docs/readme/preparation-phase.md#the-armory)

## Campaign

A campaign is a series of 2-4 missions that the player must progress through in-order. Each mission gets increasingly difficult but the players will also earn more Credits to buy better gears.

A campaign may last more than 3 hours. The players may choose to play 1-2 missions in a sitting, then take a picture of the board, shops, etc., to continue the campaign in the next sitting.

## Mission

A mission lasts around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.

### Mission Objective

The players must complete all **primary objective(s)** to complete the mission.

Certain missions may have **secondary objective(s)** which the players may complete for extra rewards for the next mission. These rewards are given during the Earn Credits step before the next mission.

Examples of secondary objectives are:

* Disarm both bombs within 10 player turns: +2 Credits
* Eliminate all hostiles: +1 Credits

### Phases

Each mission contains 2 phases. Preparation phase and Mission phase.
